I have been out of the blogging loop lately. A lot has been going on around my neck of the woods.

Aaron left today for Gulf Shores with his family. He won't be back until next Saturday. BUT on next Friday, Rylee & I are leaving for Panama City with my family. It'll be about 2 weeks before I see Aaron. So while I'm home alone I've made one of those things that you never get around to actually doing, you know....A TO DO LIST.

I've got a lot of things I want to do around the house and fix up. Like..

1.) Fix the basement & bedroom door.

2.) Clean up the basement

3.) Spray my house with spider and buy spray!!

4.) Do Spring/Summer cleaning

5.) RELAX

Hopefully that will make the time go by faster. I'm just ready to be on the beach, vacation is something I need badly.

I hope everyone is having a great summer so far! We are!

Farwell LOST

Tonight is the series finale of LOST tear. I fell in love with the show right after Rylee was born. Aaron had Season 1 so I started watching it on maternity leave. And now here I sit watching the series finale, saying goodbye to the people I have grown to love. sigh.

Today was a great day; Rylee, Aaron, and I were outside pretty much all day. Aaron & I are sun burnt. Weekends are so great to spend with your family. Nothing but laughing & sharing memories. I couldn't imagine a better way to spend my time!

This Thing...

Is living in my basement. Take a close look. It is camping out right above my washer and dryer. Since Aaron is too chicken to kill it (I am too), I guess it will stay. So today when I was doing my laundry I was doing the whole reach in the washer with one arm and keeping both eyes on the 8 legged freak. At first I thought it was a daddy long leg but now I don't think it is. EEEWWW. I am so scared of spiders.

Rylee had a dress up session last night.

And she made Daddy join too.

This is just a funny one I had to share.

And this is how I caught Rylee yesterday after her nap. My baby can't be growing up that fast :(

Today is Lauryn's 2nd birthday! Wow. I remember the day she was born and visiting her and Danielle in the hospital.

We had a wonderful time at her birthday party on Saturday, enjoy some pictures!

An update on my great grandma; she is doing well since the passing of her husband. Everyday is new for her but she is adapting well. She is such a strong person to have lasted in this family this long. She has seen a lot of things and her spirits still remain high, I admire the heck out of her.

Is It Just Me Or....

Does everyone know certain people that are hard be around? What really strikes me and upsets me are the people that say one thing but do the total opposite. I guess the proper word for them would be hypocrites?? Sorry guys, I just need to get some things off of my chest; it tends to bulid up quickly!

Yesterday was Richard's memorial service. It was very nice; we had a lot of people show up and I think that made my great grandma very happy. We had great food and the weather was nice. Perfect day. Tomorrow I'm taking my great grandma out for a little while. I think we might go to Goody's then to eat lunch. We need some alone time together.

Today is Lauryn's birthday party. I'm super excited about it! I made Lauryn's gift this year and I really hope she likes it. Yeah Casy, it's the same thing I got Emily. I can finally post these pictuers becuse I know Danielle is busy getting ready for the party and won't have time to see this!

R.I.P Richard

Today my family lost someone. I'm sure you all have read about my great grandmother and how close I am to her. Well her husband Richard, who I've known almost my whole life, passed away today. It hit me hard because my great granmda really loved him and he took care of her. They laid down for a nap earlier today and we think he had a heart attack. My grandma, who is 95, is taking it well. I went over there today to make sure she was ok. He will be missed. My day has been pretty droopy.

Wordful Wednesday-Yeah We're Flooded

So lucky me, I was in the path of that big storm that came sweeping across Kentucky and Tennessee. We got TONS of rain ALL weekend. The Kentucky Derby ran on Saturday, yeah it was nasty and muddy. I didn't have my camera at work with me but I did have the handy dandy iPhone. So I got some pictures of the water as it started rising. Our parking lot is pretty much all the way flooded, but we weren't sent home. (Not cool).

This is Kentucky River, yesterday around 12:30.

And this was my parking lot this morning. That is my white car on the right. Around 1:00 the water was covering where my car was and still rising. We had to evacuate the parking lot and park in another parking lot. I walked more today at work than I ever have!

That over there is Buffalo Trace Distillery and the back parking lot to another building by mine. My agency has three two buidings and this one was pretty close to being under water.

Remember that ramp from the first picture?? It's gone.

Remember that cute little bench from the second photo? It's gone. So all this happened within about 24 hours. I can't wait to go to work tomorrow; not.

Yesterday I took Lauryn's 2nd birthday pictures. It wasn't really a professional photo session but it was the first time I had taken pictures of someone for a purpose. I was so excited! Shew I hope you guys are ready for this one! I had to make a list on my phone because I have so much I want to tell you all!

Do you have someone in your family that you're close to and they're your best friend? I do. It's my great grandmother. She will be 96 this year, yes I am very blessed to have her in my life. I used to stay with her during the summers and even as I got older I called her everyday and still went to visit her. But here lately, I have slacked. I've been so busy with work, school, and baby girl that I haven't made time for her. I do feel bad about this but I won't let it happen again. She loves when I just call her, but today Rylee and I made a visit over to see her. It was great and Rylee kept saying, "Hey Mawma". I got some great pictures of the two.

On top of having a great day for Rylee and me; Aaron had a great day too. He got registered for classes for the fall semester. He's pretty excited and I am too.

I am going to need some help figuring out what to do with my hair. This is the longest I have ever had it but I don't know if I want to keep it long or cut it short, since it's almost summer. Plus I'm not sure about the color. I'll have a couple of pics for you guys to look at so I know what will look best. Until then, have a great night!!

This is how I spent my Thursday night, watching Aaron perform. Rylee loved it too! She kept wanting to go up to him screaming "DADDDDY". Then she went to the bathroom and had to announce to everyone there that she "pooped", so her and I had to leave. Ahh what a great age!

Today was a day of celebration! One of our family friend's had a birthday party. His name is Glenn and he turned 12! We had so much fun over there, which we always do becuase his mom Margaret has always seemed like part of our family. But before I show you pictures from the party I want to show you this....

Yes this is my sister, no she did not get beat up. She is allergic to the sun and she spent the day outside yesterday at Thunder over Louisville. Her face swelled up like this. Poor Molly. It looked like the swelling was going down as the day went on but it still looks pretty bad. When I walked in the door at my parent's house I had to laugh. I know it sounds mean, but she was laughing too!!

My Daughter...

AMAZES me.

She really does. It seems like everyday she does something new. Really, she is growing too fast. Her vocabulary is expanding so fast, her motor skills are outstanding, she's getting taller, & she is turning into a little lady. In 4 days she will be 20 months. (Yeah I need to start planning the BIG 2 birthay party).

What really makes my day is her little smile and gestures. Like when she says,

"Mommy, where'd it go?"

"Mommy, I poop....it skink."

"Mommy, Good Girl sleeping."

"Cooks peeass....tank you mommy."

(Translation: Cookies please, thank you mommy.)

That's just a few of the little things she does that makes me so proud of her. I love how she is growing and developing, but I'm not ready for her to be a big girl.

I'm sure most of you all know what I am talking about. It's a bittersweet thing.

Hey ya'll! I think Kentucky has skipped spring and went straight to summer! It has been in the upper 80's all this week, yeah it's only Tuesday but it's going to stay that way this week!

I wanted to tell you guys that I have changed my major in college. I was going for Public Administration and then getting my Masters in Environmental Science. BUT now I'm going for Elementary Education. I really want to teach primary grade and teach Social Studies, but I will take what I can get. I'm pretty excited! I've still got a long road ahead of me but I'm ready for it.

It's almost time for LOST and then Justified is right after that so I guess I have to get off of here. But not before I make my rounds to everyone's blog! Have a great Wednesday!!

Today was so relaxing and nice. We made a trip to Frankfort to pick up some glasses and get some groceries, then we came home and played outside. Sundays are just my favorite!

My First Time...

Seeing a stand-up comedian. Tonight Aaron and I are joining a couple of friends and going to see Zach Galifianakis. Who is that??? Well he is Allen from The Hangover, What Happens In Vegas, & a couple other films. He is HIL-A-RIOUS! So we will be heading to Lexington tonight to take in some laughs!

Might I also add that I am sitting in my bed blogging, that's right. Internet has been set up at my house and I'm already in love. Why in the world did I wait so long?!?! Be expecting a blog post from me everyday from now on!!
My baby Rylee is finally better also. This morning her temperature was 98.4. First day she hasn't had a fever since Tuesday. She had a nasty virus, scared me to death. Wednesday night her fever got to 104. We're just happy she's back to normal, the normal being the sassy attitude, the flinging of toys, the tears, and of course the screaming of "MOOMMMMYYY" & "DADDDDDDY" all day. I wouldn't change a thing!
And I am a couple of days late but Happy 2nd Birthday Bella!! You are growing so fast. You went from this little cutie pie....

To being the trash eating, toy chewing, snoring when you sleep, bed hog ANGEL you are now...

Ok let me start off with Saturday...

Rylee and I joined Casy, Emily, & Hank at their church's egg hunt. These girls are too cute!

Dang!! I am behind! I have had a jam packed weekend/week. I will have tons of pictures for you guys from Easter (hey better late than never!)

Aaron's mom and sister came in town last Thursday and stayed until Saturday. Rylee was so excited, she is Abby's girl. Then on Saturday Rylee and went to an egg hung at Casy's church. She took tons of pictures of the girls having a blast. Then after that we went over to Danielle's mom's house and had a great time. All the family got together for great food and another egg hunt (momma got tons of candy).

Then Sunday Rylee, Aaron, and I went to Wal-Mart and got potitng soil and flowers and fixed our flowerbox and put a couple of pretty flowers in pots for the porch. Then we made our way to my aunt and uncle's for our tradition Easter dinner. MMM some gooood food!

We had a great Easter, if I wasn't so pressed for time right now I would upload my pictures.

(Oh did I mention I'm getting the Internet at my house on Saturday?!? Oh yeah, I'll be blogging all the time!)

Yesterday Rylee got sick and had a fever of 103 so I stayed home with her today. She is so sick. She has had a fever all day and the doctor said it's just a virus. I hope I don't get it.

A Whole New World

Sunday was full of Princess's. We headed to Lexington to see Disney Princess on ice. It was awe-shum. Rylee really enjoyed it too.

I took two memory cards full of pictures because we sat so close and the show was amazing! But I won't bore you with ALL those pictures. I'll just post the best pictures from each Princess performance. Enjoy guys!

You guys make me joyful!!

One thing that brightened my week and made me feel very special was Mae Rae's post. It made me realize how great blogging is. It's a great relationship you develop with people you don't even know. But it's a very comforting one, knowing that there are people out there that you know on some level and relate to. Some that share the same parenting challenges as you or the same everyday reality. I really enjoy blogging and reading about everyone's day to day adventures. I am so glad to be apart of that. I started this blog as something that I could use to show off Rylee to family out of state and some in state, but now it is so much more than that. It's a social network that I am addicted to.

Thanks for making my day and honestly, my week Mae Rae! You rock girl!

Saturday was so nice outside, so Molly and I took Rylee to the park to play on the slide. She had a blast and we could hardly keep up with her. Let me also tell you all that Friday night I got Rylee's play house in I worked on it ALL day Saturday and got it built. I am so proud of myself because I did it all by myself, minus a few bolts being tightened and a screwing in two screws. But that doesn't really matter because I did everything else! My hands hurt today too. I'll pictures of it soon. Just sit back and enjoy these awesome pictures of a cute litle girl!

For me, I would much rather show up over dressed. For some reason I think that if you show up somewhere under dressed people look down on you like you do not own anything nice. Even though I hardly ever dress up I would try to make myself look presentable for a group of people I did not know.

I Am SUPER Pumped!!!

So this pretty little thing will soon be in my backyard!!! YAY YAY YAY!!! It's Rylee's Easter present. Well I was going to buy it for her anyway but since Easter is a couple of weeks away I thought I would throw it in there. I am so excited to plant flowers in the flower boxes and play in the kitchen with her. I can't wait to see Rylee's face when she sees this!! She will be so happy!! We also got her a bubble lawn mower because the child loves bubbles and pushing things.

Then for me for Easter, we got a fire pit. Since we had to use the heat from the grill to make s'mores when Andrew was in town (that's ghetto grillin'!) we decided to invest in a fire pit. It's going to be sweet! I'll have pictures posted as soon as it gets in.

It has been awhile since I put videos on here, so here are a couple of them! The first two are Rylee laughing. She fell last night while trying to go out the back door and when she fell she landed on Bella's food and water bowl and it went everywhere. So distract her, Aaron started imitating what she did. She loved it! Her laugh is so cute! The other videos are Rylee singing or playing music. We recently got a drum set and Rylee loves to sing in the mic while Aaron plays it, she likes to play too!

Now enjoy some pictures of Rylee playing with Abby last weekend. It was so nice and Rylee got a new ball so she had to go out and play!!

Wordful Wednesday Hey Ya!!!

Hello my lovely friends!! I hope everyone is have a great week so far! I know I am! Today is going to be 70 degrees and sunny (after the rain moves out). Bring it Spring!

Also, I took my Western Civilization test yesterday and I'm pretty srue I passed. I mean I think I missed like 2 questions. Which is awesome considering I got a 9/20 on the last test. Yeah that is F-. I decided to buckle down and study the night before and continue to go over my notes during the day before the test, shoo it paid off!

I aslo took my midterm for my Monday night class and I think I passed that as well but that's not the good part, the good part is that I do not have class on Monday night for the next two weeks!! What in the world will I do with my life??!!! I'm excited! Class is 5-7:30 but my teacher loves to talk so we usually get out around 8:00 or so.

Over the weekend Aaron's mom and sister came in town and stayed with us a couple of days. Abby and I went to my volleyball tournament a local church. It was fun and my team came in 3rd place out of 6 teams. Half way there! Go team!

This week Aaron's brother is in town and staying with us. Last night we broke out the grill and make steak and shrimp kabobs (I think I spelt that right.) I have pictures on my camera at home. Sorry. But let me tell you, there were as good as they look! MMM Dang those were good.

Rylee played outside yesterday too. We brought out her ball and push car and ran around the yard for awhile. Our driveway is gravel and she kept bringing rocks to me. The fun never stops! It was a good night all in all.

Oh yeah, I entered in a contest to win John Mayer tickets. Ok not just tickets, but front row seats, meet & greet, and a signed gutair from him. Like we need another gutair around my house! To enter you had to tell the radio station something CRAZY you would do. Well I'm not that crazy, (right), so this is what I said I would do...

I told them that I would dress like Jessica Simpson and Aaron would dress like John Mayer and we would go to a local bar or somewhere that kareoke is offered and sing our hearts out. This seems crazy to me because I can NOT sing at all!! Aaron is pretty good so he would sound great. I thought that would be funny to see Aaron and I dressed up all crazy singing to lame songs! Ok so I have received an award!! WOOT WOOT. This one is from my ole cuz Danielle at Humes Party of Three. Thanks girly friend.

1.) I work for the Enviornmental Protection Agency in Frankfort, KY.

2.) I moved out of my parent's house 4 days after I turned 18.

5.) After I had Rylee my feet shrank from a 9 1/2 to an 8. No more boats.

8.) I LOVE to make crafts but I never think they're that good so I don't show anyone.

OK, so let me make a confession (my guilty pleaure). So I have never been into the Twilight scene and the whole Edward vs. Jacob thing. BUT I will say that I have started to read a book and I am hooked! It's about vampires. Don't judge yet!!

I'm sure most of you have heard of the True Blood series on HBO. Well that show is based on these books. The first one is Dead Until Dark and dang is it good! I never really understood the vampire idea or whatever. But this book makes it really easy to understand.

So that is what it looks like. I got it at Walmart for like 5 bucks. Not bad. If you like reading and LOVED Twilight, this book is perfect for you. Don't think I'm lame!!

I am SOO happy it is Friday!! After playing three volleyball games last night and getting beat up by my team members, (not really beat up just got hit in the face with the ball, hit my knee head on with someone else's knee, and got head butted in my arm) I'm ready for a peaceful weekend! But tomorrow I'm playing in a volleyball tournament all day! Gotta love it!

Last time I made contact with my bloggy buddies I was talking about my house being haunted, don't worry, the ghost didn't get me! I'm still here, just doing a horrible job blogging!

I have taken A LOT more pictures and I'm excited to share them with you.

I haven't got any good stories to share with you on this post, my week hasn't been that entertaining. I will say that Rylee went to the doctor Friday for her 18 month checkup and she is in perfect health!! Doc said she will be at least 5'8" (that's how tall I am). Right now she is 33 1/2 in long and 25 HEAVY pounds. That's my girl! She was so excited in the room because her bed was a hippo but she thought it was a cow, she mooed the whole time we were in there!

Friday night Momma got to be pampered by Rylee. Well she just cleaned my ears (not really) but she pretended to.

My house is HAUNTED!

Ok, I know I have said this before but after last night, I have NO doubt in my mind.

So let me do a little recap for the folks that have never heard this before. We live in an older duplex. We have two closet/rooms in the basement that are pretty creepy. One night around 11 pm we hear beating coming from the basement. We ignore it thinking it was our neighbor building something. The next day around 11 am Aaron is home alone and our neighbors are at work. He hears the noise again so he goes to the basement door and listens and the noise is coming from downstairs, from one of the closets. CREEEEEEPY!! He tried to ignore because he is a sissy like me.

Then there have been little things go on like Bella out of no where looking at the ceiling barking and her hair standing on ends. It takes a lot to calm her down. Or her standing in the hallway growling at something in the other room. Or Rylee and I playing in her room and she looks over my head at the wall and yells "HEEY" and laughs really hard while pointing at the wall. Those things are hard to brush off.

So on to the point of this story. Ever since we moved into this duplex Rylee has woken up almost every night crying. Sometimes she goes back to sleep but other times she is too scared to sleep in her room. Such as the case last night.

Around 3 am Rylee starts screaming crying. Not the slightly woken cry but the "GET IN HERE NOW!!" cry! So Aaron goes in there and brings her to back to me and I comfort her. Well we both end up falling asleep so at around 3:45 am I am woken up by one of Rylee's toys. It is this Elmo jack-in-the-box that her Aunt Susan and Uncle Darryl got her. It only talks when it's handle is turned. So I hear,

"Elmo's coming to see you soon!"

Then...

"Elmo can't wait to see you!"

THEN...

"I'll be out in a minute!"

I jumped up, heart pounding. OK, really??!? Then I try to convince myself, it's Bella snooping around. So I yell "BELLA". She perks up head up, she laying right at my feet. So the fear sets in. Of course Aaron is not going to help, he just says...

"Go back to sleep, it'll go away."

This morning I look for that toy, thinking maybe the batteries are dying and it's starting to just talk whenever. Well it was under the kitchen table and let me tell you, that thing was NOT there last night. I picked up all the toys in the living room and that was not left out. HOW IN THE WORLD DID IT THERE??

That tops it, my house is haunted.

So on top of an 18 month rolling around all over me, butt in face, feet in belly, snoring in my ears, and slobber on my pillows, I have this toy talking!! I got NO sleep and I am very tired today. I hope tonight is more smooth.

Once I get this new camera thing down pat I will edit pictures and make them "pop" more. I love my camera. I love taking pictures! If you have Nikon, tell me your favorite setting you like to use. There are so many options and I have mainly just used the "Auto" or "Child" setting. I want to hear more about how others feel about thier cameras. I also want to hear how you edit your photos, which program you use. I usually use Picnik but I would love to get familiar with Photoshop! Have a great day!!

Yeah I'm late posting these, sorry! But hey I'm doing it now! Valentines Day was a great one for us! Rylee got gifts and she loved them! Check it out...

Rylee got a T.V. to put in her room to watch Barney. So I went out and bought a new stand to put it on. As you can see from the pictures m dad had braces on his arms because his arthritis was so bad that day that his hands were swollen. He tried to help put together the stand but Rylee took over!!

Then it was time to dig into gifts!

Wordful Wednesday 2/17/2010

This edition has no picutres...SORRY. I posted all I had yesterday. But I have a lot to say today...you're thinking great.

Well to start off, my computer has about 33 worms on it and is very sick. So my mom is having it fixed right now but I MISS it. Very very soon I am going to get the internet at home, very much needed. So I will take my precious buddy home. Sorry mom.

Also, the camera is coming soon. Come on tax money, I need you!!!

Last night Rylee and I had a little battle. She won. She head butted me right on my nose. I cried. She was so upset that I was crying and felt really bad. She didn't mean to but sometimes she gets a little psycho and out of control. But she hugged me and patted my back and just watched the tears come down my face. I love her, she is so sweet.

And big news...

The pacifier is GONE!! So long!! I was so proud of her last night. She went to bed without it. Of course she cried for about 10 minutes but that was it. At the sitter's house she has been taking naps without it so I thought if she can do it there, she can do it at home. I said I was going to try to take it away before she was 18 months, WELL, tomorrow she is 18 months. Not too shabby!

Oh and her mullet has to be cut again. QUIT GROWING!!! I need hair on top. ahh, poor child.

Ok I have to go to school now and brave the cold, windy, snowy weather to walk to class.

Blizzard 2010

Sunday brought us some NOT needed snow. Although I do enjoy staying home all day with Rylee, I do not enjoy making up the hours. And we're supposed to get more snow this weekend!! COME ON!!! So this was my backyard and car yesterday morning about 10:00. Pretty covered.

And here is poor Bella out in the snow. She does not do well with her paws getting wet. Girly girl.

This morning I decided to come to work and take Rylee to the sitters house. I got here late but hey I'm here!! This was my car this morning...

That's a lot of snow! And here is my backyard again...

Rylee and I enjoyed staying cozied up inside. It was a nice break. Aaron went to Missouri this weekend and on his way home Sunday he slid off the road. It was pretty scary. He has been staying at a hotel in Indiana for a couple of days. It's dangerous out there!

Game Day Saturday

Hey ya'll!! This weekend has been a good one so far! Last night I went to my cousin's basketball game and spent time with some great family members. Then this morning Danielle & Lauryn came over and hung out for a bit. We then had lunch with my mom and went to Stephanie's basketball game. Tomorrow I'm going to Indiana just to eat some iHop...yup. MMM HMMM.

And I said I wasn't going to buy Rylee anything for Valentines Day because she gets pretty much anything she wants on any day. BUT I gave in. We went to Wal-Mart last night (we all know that place is a trap!) And I bought her some things...

I already had the Barney Valentines video but I can re-gift right?!?!? Sure, why not? She was surprised. I got her this Barbie she can play with in the bathtub, she loves it. And a new Barney that teaches Numbers. JOY.

This is a perfect Saturday. Rylee got up and sat on the couch and watched Spongebob while I fixed oatmeal and milk. Then like I said earlier, Danielle & Lauryn came over. Yeah check out this pics. HIL-A-RIOUS.

Friday Follow & A Sad Sad Story...

Happy Friday!! Man it has been a crazy week!!

So I told you all I would tell you a sad sad story, well it's not really that sad, but my life is.

Last night I had a volleyball game. My sister came and got Rylee and watched her while I played. Well in the car Rylee and I listen to Barney; main reason for this is because the pacifer is gone and to take her mind off of it, you guessed it, we listen to Barney. Anyway...

So on my way to volleyball I was jamming to some Barney, oh yeah the clap your hands, stamp them feet, HOOORAAAYY!!! Yeah I was all by myself. So I pull up to the park cranking some Barney sing-a-long and one of my team mates was parked right beside me. Finally after he gets out of his car and walks in do I realize that I had Barney playing loud and there was no child in my backseat. So me, a 21 year old loser, is listening to Barney when I don't have to.

WHY HAS BARNEY CONSUMED MY LIFE?!?!?!?

It's all for that little precious jewel, Rylee Grace. But seriously Barney, go away.

A Not So Sunny Wednesday :(

WOW. Really that is all I can say right now. Today has not been the greatest; when it rains it pours. I am going to need a lot of support here soon. More details to follow.

Starting Monday night we had a winter storm. Snow and snow and snow. Then throw in there strong winds, temperatures under 30 degrees, and a little rain/snow mix. Yeah SNOW DAY!

So yesterday Rylee and I cozied up and watched movies and played all day. I was trapped, literally. My little Focus can't push mounds of snow out from behind.

Sooo..I finally got out and went to work for a little bit today. Enjoy the pictures of Rylee putting on makeup...

On a side note...does anyone know why Blogger makes SEVERAL Internet pages pop up?!?! I can click on someone's blog and the close it out and then about 50 more pages will open. It's soo annoying!! I have to just shut it down.

Sorry I don't have any pictures today, I do have some videos that I got last night but you'll have to wait until tonight to see them. Hopefully I can get them on here from my video recorder since my camera is still on a little vacation...(come home).

My child thinks that is it HIL-A-RIOUS to beat her head on doors, mirrors, the dog, my head...I mean I could go on. She loves it!! The laugh she lets out after she has hit her forehead on a door is just pure greatness. I know that sounds bad but I love her laugh not her concussion. Cute little thing.

Next on my wordfulness...

LOST was awshum last night, I never had a doubt. Oh and the lovely creaters have brought my Charlie boy back to me.

"Charlie bit me and it really hurt" (English accent)

Totally random script but I kept saying that to Aaron last night during LOST because Charlie was back and he is my favorite!! He got annoyed.

Too bad I missed all of the episodes of The Office and Bad Girls Club. Oh well.

Did I mention that I am so tired today that I can barely focus on the computer screen. Staying up till 11:30 and getting up at 6:15 ain't flying. Not to mention my 5-7:30 class on Monday night lasted until 7:55. NOT COOL. I saw Rylee about 3 minutes that night. She missed her momma. This week has kicked my butt, spring break where are you????!

So this weekend was a good one, I found my phone charger!! My friend has come back to me. All along I thought that Rylee misplaced it and I would never see that thing again. But really it was ME who misplaced it. One night at my parent's house we were playing Wii and I had the nunchucks out to play a game. Well instead of putting those stupid things up I put my charger up. Totally didn't even realize. I mean come now. I felt so dumb when I found but I was too overwhelmed with joy to show it! I've missed you buddy and so has Natasha. Glad you're home.

Ok so pretty soon, like the in the next two weeks, I'm getting a new camera! Woot woot!! Which is good because I have "misplaced" my old camera. Yeah, don't ever let me babysit your children, I may misplace them too! HAHA just kidding, I haven't lost Rylee (yet). So check out this bad boy...

Yesterday was awesome. I spent all day with Rylee and we played and sang songs. I visited my best friend and her husband. He recently had brain surgery so my mom mad them baked spaghetti and we took it to them. I got left overs, YEAH YEAH!! Momma's cooking is so good!

Anyway, this was Rylee Sunday morning. Ready for her nap and just chillin'!

And this was my baby doll Sunday night, totally ready for bed. It was 7:00. Love my Rylee Grace!

Not Like Mawma's But Still Good!

This weekend I made some french toast, but not just any french toast, my great grandma's recipe. She used to make the BEST french toast when I was a kid. I would spend summers with her and we could cook all the time. She made the word's best pancakes, cookies, french toast, eggs, pretty much everything she cooked was fantastic. So I called her last weekend and got the recipe for the toast and made it. It was pretty good, not like hers but still good!! I included pictures of my process...

You need bread, milke, eggs, cinnamon, sugar, and a bowl to mix it all in.

Whip the eggs and milk together. I used 4 eggs and made about 6 pieces of frensh toast.

Soak the bread on both sides.

Spray your pan with No-Stick spray and turn it on medium heat.

Mmm mmm!!

MULLET!!

Rylee got her first haircut yesterday! Not much came off but it looks so much better! The mullet is gone (for now). Thanks to my friend Lydia, Rylee is stylin'!

Saturday was our friend Mike's birthday. He was only 44 but the girls at work and I decided to decorate his office. He is going to be so surprised!

I'm a little late putting these pictures up, but they're from when Rylee & I went sledding with mom & dad. Dad hit a little bump and flew off the sled & ended up being a snowball!! Very funny!

Rylee at dinner the other night decided that she was going to take her plate (full of food) and put it on her head! She is umm...creative!??! Gotta love her!

Introducing....

The Hawk-Mullet!! Bet you have never seen one of these before!! Rylee rocks the mullet and now the mohawk! She's hard core :)

For some reason Rylee loves to take all my hair products out of the basket in the bathroom and put them in front of her t.v. while she watches Barney. I'll find bottles of hair products all over the house. It's like a game to her!

Sometimes you just need a girls night, and that is what Sally & I had last weekend. Nothing exciting, I just went to her house and hung out for a little bit. Good ole Sally!

Best friends forever! Rylee crawls on the couch when Bella is up there and lays with her while they watch movies. Bella loves Rylee, and I love that!

All I have to say is, this is relaxation!

Hey guys!! It's Thursday and time for Just For The Joy Of It!! I love these posts!

Just for the joy of it....

I watched Bad Girls Club on On-Demand last night because it makes me happy.

I peeked around the corner to watch Rylee play alone in her room and hear all the funny things she is trying to say.

I am starting the winter league of vollebyall tonight.

I cleaned my apartment from top to bottom yesterday because I love the way a home feels after it's cleaned and a nice candle is burning.

Let me throw in a little side note, today has not been, let's say "smooth". Well actually it started Tuesday when I lost my phone charger. I still think my daughter took it and has it somewhere and I will probably find it next month. So I have been borrowing Casy's charger, big ups girl!! So last night I realized my iPod dock also charges your phone...DUH! So I put my phone on there all night, bad idea. My dock went off for some CRAZY reason and my phone died. So the two alarms I set on my phone and the two alarms I set on my dock did not go off. I got up at 6:47 am, I have to leave the house at 7 to get to work on time. I jump up and attempt to get ready. I have the nappy look going on today. Get to work and lock my keys in my car. Get another key cut at the Ford dealership down the road, luckily it was free. That is the third time I have done that in 4 months and I have only owned the car 4 months.

On top of that, my sister's boss bought her two tickets to go see Brad Paisley, Miranda Lamber, and Justin Moore, with MEET & GREET! I wasn't invited. :(

Wordful Wednesday- Haiti Earthquake

Yesterday at 4:53 p.m. an earthquake hit Haiti, a 7.0. It rocked everything there. The prime minister estimates around 100,000 dead. I just heard on the news that rescue workers are piling bodies in the streets as they find them. My heart really goes out to everyone there. That is such a horrible tragedy.

Onto my other topic...

I am very proud to report that in the past 127 days I have gained 4 pounds!! I know you're thinking why 127 days? Well...I have not been on the Wii Fit in 127 days and that was the last day I weighed in on there. So when I got on there last night I was super happy that my underweight status went up just a smidge. See I am trying to gain weight. And NO I am not one of those annoying girls that are like "Oh my gosh, like I'm so skinny I need to gain weight, like for real." I want to gain weight because:
1.) I would like to donate blood again so I can get extra time at work
2.) I would like to wear regular jeans and not have to search high and low to find some that fit my waist
3.) I want to build more muscles
4.) I'm tired of people asking me if I'm anorexic
And 5.) I just want to gain weight, simple as that!

Luckily I have my mother's genes and lost all my baby weight after I had Rylee, but I mean dang can't I keep some?!?! Oh well. Probably another contributing factor to my weight loss is that after high school I stopped playing volleyball and working out so I lost my muscle tone. So I'm going to start playing volleyball again and gain my muscle back.

Dang, it's Tuesday already. It was just like yesterday I did Random Tuesday Thoughts.

Well anyway I'm wondering why you take Zyrtec at night around 8:00 pm & in the morning you can hardly hold you eyes open to wash your hair in the shower? I thought this was non-drowsy. Yeah well I'm pretty drowsy today. But I must say, I can breathe and don't have the annoying sinus headache! Now if I could get the lady beside me to stop wearing that explosion melon perfume, my head would feel great everyday!!

Not only is today Random Tuesday Thoughts, but it is also my favorite t.v. shows day!! OK here is the lineup:
8:00: The office for 3 WHOLE hours on TBS. Which I watch every Tuesday because I can not get enough of some Micheal and Dwight!
8:00: American Idol. So that means in between commercials I have to watch both. I usually do not get into American Idol but it's the beginning and I like to see the fools come out who think they can sing. PLUS Ellen is going to be a judge and I love her so I want to see how funny she is going to be.
10:00: Bad Girls Club. Good ole drama filled, wanna-be bad girls, with a lot of money to spend in L.A. But hey I'm addicted!! Hopefully I can make it through the whole episode but I doubt it because I'm going to take Zyrtec again tonight. ZZZZZZZ
Crap, what am I going to do when LOST comes on. I need a DVR.
Good thing we have On Demand.

Oh and I think my house is haunted.

My Baby Loves The Snow!

Finally a SNOW DAY!! Yesterday I left work early because I work about 30 minutes from home and the snow was coming down too fast. So I got home that afternoon and we bundled Rylee up and headed out to the snow!! She loved it!! We had so much fun, we weren't out there long because it was snowing hard and freezing!!

Little Aaron

Rylee loves anything musical, just like Aaron. So in our basement Aaron has his musical instruments set up. I was down there doing laundry and since we all know what Rylee does when Aaron & I are both in the basement, we brought her down with us. First they played on the keyboard a little, then played with the microphone. She was a pro and acted like she knew exactly what to do! Notice how she holds it tight! We got a Little Aaron on our hands!!

I caught Rylee playing in her room by herself. She was in her princess tent, running in and out! She's so cute!

Yesterday we took Rylee outside to play in the snow, she had so much fun! I couldn't keep up with her! This is just a short video of her running away from me. I'm so glad the snow finally decided to come our way!

Random Thought...

This is my first link up with Random Tuesday Thought but not my first random thought, that is for sure!

I was just thinking about this this morning, randomly of course.

I'm a LOST fanatic, many know that. But I'm confused as to why the promo has Charlie in it when he died in like the 2nd season?!?!? I REALLY hope he comes back because I developed a little crush on that English cutie, then they cut him out! Come home Charlie!

Also, I've been wondering if it's too cold to grill out? I bought Aaron a grill for Christmas and we're just itching to use it. I mean he is, not me. NO WAY am I going to stand outside in 12 degree weather to cook some steaks. Shut that is what the George Forman and Griddle is for. I just wonder if my neighbors would think we're total idiots for grilling tonight?

I've got plenty of random thoughts, but I'll stop. What are you thinking about randomly??

A Rockin' New Years Eve!

My parents invited over some of their friends for New Years Eve so Aaron, Rylee, and I went over there to ring in the new year with them. It was fun, we played Apples to Apples & ate great food! Great start to 2010!

Susan needed two pairs of glasses to play Apples to Apples!

A True Princess

Rylee got a Princess tent for Christmas. I love that tent more than her I think. We can both get in it and play with her toys or she can lay on her pillow with her blanket. It's so great! She also got an eraseable table that she loves!! It came with markers but we have to watch her with them or she will write all over the walls!! Witth the princess couch, tent, and table; Rylee is a true princess!!

Rylee has the biggest room in the house and we're running out of room for her toys!!

Missouri Trip :)

Christmas morning after visiting my parents we went home and finished packing and headed to Missouri to Aaron's family's house. The trip there wasn't too bad, Rylee and Bella slept almost the whole time. We made good time and the roads weren't bad to drive on. My baby girls were so cute sleeping in the car!

We visited with Grandma & Grandpa Winstead while we were there and Rylee got her own stocking to open! Abby helped her pull her gifts out and show everyone.

We had a great trip, minus the fact that I got the nasty stomach virus Rylee brought home the Tuesday before. It made its round to just about everyone in the family. Thanks Rylee!!!

Christmas was so nice and relaxing. I've been off work for a little over a week and it was very much needed!
